The catalogue and the reading documents are public UTF-8 JSON, served anonymously and without a key. Reading documents are gzip-compressed and identified as application/gzip.
Resources
/catalog.json— the complete catalogue: every edition, its CTS identifiers, its title, its author authority and its rights statement./works/{CTS-author}/{CTS-work}/{edition}.json.gz— the reading document of one edition, with its divisions, its blocks and its apparatus./sitemap.xml— every public page, for harvesting.
Where they are served
The data are published in the package registry of the corpus repository, and the pages of this site read them from there. The REST and DTS services that a previous host offered are no longer served; the catalogue and the reading documents carry the same information, under stable identifiers.
Versioning
This publication uses corpus release 2.3.0, dated 2026-08-31. CTS identifiers are the stable edition keys.
Reuse
Access to the data does not create a global licence for the texts. Consult the rights statement attached to each edition and the sources and rights policy.
